What is brick pointing?
Pointing, or repointing, means removing damaged mortar from between the bricks and replacing it with new mortar. It restores the wall's resistance to water and improves how it looks.
How do I know my building needs repointing?
Look for mortar that is cracked, crumbling or recessed, gaps between bricks, or damp patches inside. If you are not sure, we can inspect the wall and tell you what it needs.
